Thought:

Right now, there's a hydrangea growing in the flower bed next to my front step. I sit there in the sun and watch it. Little green shoots push through the dirt, reaching for the light.

Even though the ground is hard, they keep going. They don't stop. They stretch and push and reach—until they find the light they desperately seek.

Life is similar. Sometimes, things get hard. But if we look for God and His wisdom the way that little plant looks for the sun—if we keep going, keep seeking—we'll find what we need.

​

God is light. He brings life. All we have to do is keep growing toward Him.
